Fabric Donation Information
Do you have unwanted fabric or other sewing items? Donate them to the
Farm, Home, & Youth Foundation of Montgomery County, PA!

Proceeds from the fabric sale support the Foundation, which in turn provides facilities for the youth sewing program offered through 4-H.
Our hard-working, dedicated group of volunteers sort, measure, fold, organize, store, and sell. There may be a limited group who process each piece. It is a daunting but satisfying process. Complications such as scraps, odors, mold, and overall appearance can slow the process. Your understanding is appreciated.

Are donations tax deductible?
Are additional volunteers needed?
Depending on your tax situation, your donation may be tax deductible. We will provide a valuation letter upon request only. Just ask the volunteer on duty when you drop off your donation.
Yes! The program needs volunteers to help sort and measure the fabric in preparation for the fabric sale. For each 2 hours you help, you earn $5 in credit towards fabric purchases.
